TRADITIONAL SITTING This is the ‘yearbook’, head and shoulder only sitting. You will be allowed one outfit and one traditional background. Allow 20 min. for the sitting. You will receive 15-20 previews to order from.
BASIC SITTING Allows some poses from any two backgrounds and two outfits. You will get some 3/4 length poses. Sitting time takes 30 min., and you receive 20-30 previews to order from.
DELUXE SITTING Pick your three favorite backgrounds. Includes full-length poses. Maximum of three outfits. 20-30 previews to view. Sitting time is 45 minutes.
COMPLETE SITTING Includes a full hour of studio time! Take your pick from our large selection of backgrounds and props or bring some of your own. Maximum of five outfits and backgrounds.40-50 previews to view.
DESIGN YOUR OWN This is YOUR chance to show what you’re made of. If it’s car racing, football, swimming, hunting, dancing, or…….whatever!!! You will have one full hour to create your own special background, and fill it with your own individual props. This sitting WILL REQUIRE a free consultation. You will receive 30-40 “one of a kind” proofs to make your friends envious.

OUTDOOR SITTINGS
WENONA PARK Convenient location close to the studio. Offers a variety of shooting locations. Best suited to sports and casual wear.
DOWNTOWN STREETS Choose from a variety of locations and backgrounds, brick walls, alleys, fire escapes and store-fronts. Gives portraits a rugged and contemporary appeal. Makes for great black and white photos.
STATE PARK This sitting offer a great variety of backgrounds, tree-lined walks, wooden bridges, flowers and groomed lawns, sand and surf. Good with either formal or casual wear. REMEMBER, the state park requires an annual park sticker or $4.00 daily pass per car.
DOW GARDENS Best choice for a variety of backgrounds. Features grassy slopes, a waterfall, huge boulders, an oriental bridge, colorful flowers and trees and much more.
NIGHT MOVES Others may copy our idea…...BUT…..we are the original. These sittings are just getting started as the sun goes down. The city takes on a totally different look after dark. We will be scheduling from dusk til....whenever. If you want the most unusual, this is it.

LIMITED EDITION SITTINGS
TAWAS POINT & LIGHTHOUSE The best sand, the best water and even a lighthouse. There are few places in Michigan where you can get it all. We will spend 1-2 hours & take 30 or more proofs.
MACKINAW ISLAND THIS IS IT!!! If you want the best of the best, try this. You will have all day to wonder the Island & Mackinaw City. No limit on outfits, but make sure you bring the best….THAT’S what this sitting is all about. There are a very limited number of openings so call soon if you are interested.
CROSSROADS VILLAGE We have found another new area to photograph in. There are a collection of old buildings, all in great condition. There is a white church, one room schoolhouse, a beautiful carousel, with dozens of brightly colored horses. And a STEAM LOCOMOTIVE! Now that is something you don't see every day.
STEPPINGSTONE FALLS This is a "Man-made" waterfall with acres of woods and trails surrounding it. There are attractive flights of steps, split rail fencing, lots & lots of flowers and even a lakeshore area for our use. There is a very beautiful flower garden with boulders and driftwood seating designed specifically for photography. You will be treated to one of the best areas for portraits we have been able to find.
GENERAL INFORMATION
APPOINTMENTS
Pease call to make an appointment whenever you plan to come into the
studio to insure undivided attention and better service. Portrait consultations
should be scheduled one week prior to your sitting. The consultation is free of
charge. Please notify us in advance if there are any changes. Please arrive 15
minutes early for your appointment. This will allow enough time to do any
paperwork needed and still have enough time to check your hair & makeup before
your sitting time.
HAIR
Hair is very important. It should look its best. Avoid changing
hairstyles unless it is necessary, and have haircuts done at least one week prior to your
appointment. For outdoor appointments Use extra hair spray, the slightest wind will effect
your hair style.
GLASSES
To avoid the possibility of glare or distortion
caused by your lenses, borrow a pair of empty frames
from your optometrist for your senior pictures, or remove the lenses yourself. Tinted
lenses will make eyes appear darker or hide the eyes altogether.
MAKE-UP
Make-up should be applied as if you are going out for the
evening. Bring your make-up along with you for touch-ups, especially if you will be having
clothing changes. For the guys, a fresh shave just prior to your sitting is best, because
facial hair cannot be retouched.
CLOTHING
Keep in mind that dark colors have a slimming effect. Avoid
sleeveless or short sleeved shirts, this will cause the arms to appear larger. It’s
often a good idea to bring an extra outfit or two, that way we can decide together what
will work the best. When picking your outfits, bring only the ones that you know look the
best on you, don’t think average or that’s what you may end up with.
PROOFS There will be a deposit required to remove the proofs from the studio. To get your deposit back you MUST return all of the proofs WITHIN 2 WEEKS. If proofs are not returned within 2 weeks you will loose your deposit. Proofs may only be purchased after a minimum print order of $200 from the sitting.
YEARBOOK
PHOTO
Your yearbook photo is included in your sitting fee only if you
order a minimum of $50 from that pose at the same time as the yearbook photo. If not,
there will be a $15 fee added to your order. It is your responsibility to place your order
at least 3 weeks before your yearbook deadline. Any rush service will be billed
separately.
GIFT PRINTS
Please order as many gift prints as you will need at
the time of your initial order. All prints ordered at the same time will have the best
color match. Prints ordered at other times may have slightly different color. There
will be a reorder fee of $15.00.
DELIVERY TIMES
Proofs 2-3 days. Finished prints will
take 3-6 weeks depending on time of year and special services required. Reorders 3-4 weeks.
REORDERS
There is a $15 reorder fee .
PAYMENT / DEPOSIT TERMS All sitting fees (+6% sales tax) are due at the time of your appointment. Outdoor sitting fees must be paid at the studio before the sitting. A deposit is required if you wish to take the previews out of the studio. This deposit will be applied to your order, if placed within two weeks. All proofs MUST be returned within two weeks or you will loose your deposit.
PROBLEMS
We try as hard as we can to avoid errors, but they
happen. We ask that you bring them to our attention as soon as you find them. We will do
whatever we can to correct the problem in as short a time as possible.
